Part two .:. Sweater No. 9

Sweater – handmade (knitting pattern: Sweater No. 9 by My favourite things knitwear)
Jeans – handmade (sewing pattern: Morgan Jeans by Closet Core Patterns)
Sneaker – New Balance #327

Today I share with you, like I promised in this blogpost, my second Sweater No. 9 by My favourite things knitwear (we took these pictures at the baltic sea around the easter holidays). My white Sweater No. 9 was made using Drops Nepal and Drops Brushed Alpaca Silk, for this beige version I used again Drops Nepal (colour 300), but this time in combination with Drops Kid-Silk (colour 20). The Kid-Silk is a thinner yarn compared to the Brushed Alpaca Silk, that’s why the white sweater is thicker then this beige one, but I love both just as equal! I hope I can wear both sweaters next winter, if it gets cold enough here in the south of Germany.
I changed just one step of the knitting pattern (same on my white Sweater No. 9): instead of the usual purling at the raglan parts, I purled through the back loop, which gives a nicer finish in my opinion.
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you’re having a great week. See you next Monday for another DIY outfit.

  1. Really impressed with your knitting Stef. I start knitting but then get a bit fed up with it as it takes so long compared to sewing
